How To Remove Sweat Stains From White Shirts

White clothing generally scream 'High maintenance!' To keep your whites looking white takes effort, and all those irritating yellow stains under the armpit don't help matters at all. Did I hear someone say 'eewwww'? Those stains are usually caused by a reaction between sweat and the Aluminium based deodorants most people use (by the way, deodorants that contain Aluminium and/or Mercury are really not good for your long term health). Here is how to get rid of those stains in a jiffy.

You'll need:

1 cup of Vinegar

1/2 cup of baking soda

1 tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide

1 tablespoon of salt

What you need to do is to soak the shirt in warm water and pour in the vinegar. Let it soak for at least 20 minutes. Then mix the remaining three ingredients until they form a paste. Remove the shirt from the warm water and vinegar mix, wring it and lay it out on a towel. Apply the paste to the discolored areas and let it sit for another 20 minutes and then wash the shirt, the yellow stains will be gone!

Please do not try this procedure with colored clothing, the color of the shirt will come off with the yellow stains and what you will then have under the armpits are whitened patches.
