A Note To Yourself: About When You Fall Down

Whenever my little nephew fell down while running around the house, he would stay on the floor crying for attention until someone came to pick him up. After a while, he realized no one ran to pick him up as often as before again, and so he started to learn to stand by himself without making a fuss.

No one falls and refuses to stand again, not even babies. Stand up every time you fall, and add an extra!

There is a Yoruba proverb that talks about falling : when an old person falls, he/she rises and looks back (to see what caused the fall); when a child falls, he/she stands up and looks forward (unto the next thing ahead). Take a cue from both the old and the young.
