I've always hated washing jeans! When you hand wash, they are so difficult to wring properly and when you machine wash, they lose a lot of dye and seem to come out a bit weaker after all the spinning. It always seems to be a lose-lose situation. I wonder, can't they make jeans that don't fade a bit more with each wash? That is one reason I usually stick to lighter shades of blue when buying jeans - because they won't fade as much or as fast, and even if they do, it won't be as noticeable.
I recently learnt though that jeans don't need to be washed so often. The article I read then said to put jeans in a plastic bag and stick them in the freezer overnight and the germs will be gone by morning. That's cool, at least if you don't have stains on your jeans. More recently however, I learnt that you might not even need to wash your jeans at all....
Ok, I wasn't the one that came up with that. Read it up here: How to clean your jeans without washing them.
Quick question, are you going to stop washing your jeans?
