I was asked the question below, after thinking about it for a while, I gave an answer, my friend gave another answer which was hilarious, but somehow, I'm sure we both missed the point. Read the question below, what do you think the best answer should be?
Money has different names, in church it is called offering, in school, its a fee, in marriage, it's called dowry; in divorce, alimony; when you owe someone, its a debt; when you pay the government, its a tax; in court, its called a fine; for civil service retirees, its a pension; from a boss to his workers, its called a salary; from a master to casual laborers, its wages; when you borrow from the bank, its a loan; when you offer it after a service has been rendered to you, its called a tip; pay it to kidnappers and its a ransom; illegally given/received in the name of 'facilitating' service, its a bribe.
The question is: When a man gives money to his girlfriend, what is that called?!
