In Case You Are Still Thinking A 9 Year Old Is Too Young To Make A Difference...

My fellow country people, good afternoon this afternoon. Lets talk about something (well, more like someone) I found out about recently that inspired me - a 9 year old construction engineer! For real oh, this 9 year old babe is really into construction, and the best part is, it's totally for charity. She builds homes for homeless people. How touching is that? Not only is she into construction, she is also an agriculturist, this lil girl is just so inspiring.

Ok, let's cut all the drama and go straight into the real gist of the matter.

Her name is Hailey Fort and as I have been stressing since, she is just 9 years old. Rather than spend her spare time watching TV or messing around with makeup, Hailey builds mobile homes for homeless people from start to finish (almost all by herself!) and also grows food for them. You think I'm joking? check these out!

She has made a huge difference in the lives of several people already. Her story started when she was 5 and felt heartbroken for a homeless man she saw in the city. She instantly went forward to help the man, and it was this experience that motivated Hailey to start building homes for the homeless. In Hailey's words:
It just doesn't seem right that there are homeless people, I think everyone should have a place to live.
With the help of discounts, Hailey is able to build each house at the cost of about $300 each. She gets guidance from her parents, but she does most of the hard work by herself.

In this year, Hailey plans to build 12 homes, grow 250lbs of food and provide thousands of toiletries for the homeless. You can be a part of  this wonderful work too. Click here to read the Hailey's full story and donate towards her charity if you are so inclined.

Take a look at one of her completed shelters and the 'blueprints'.

Thumbs up for Hailey! Let's encourage the young generation, They are going to change the World, best to get them started early!
