Quite a number of people think fashion is all about women, but fashion is a big deal for guys too. There is a fashion rule book for men, official or not, it exists! These are some of the mistakes a man can make dressing up that lead to epic fashion fails. Call them the 'guy fashion don'ts' if you like.
When you are wearing a black belt, please wear black shoes, and a brown belt goes with brown shoes. I mean, you would think this is so basic, but just the other day, I saw a man who had on light brown shoes and a midnight black belt studded with stones! stones for crying out loud, on a suit for that matter! Haba!
2. Never, ever wear socks on palm slippers or sandals

For crying out loud, are you a secondary school student?! And you didn't even like wearing socks in secondary school, so why now? My goodness!
3. Don't Wear Over size clothes, particularly suits

While wearing over size clothes might be permissible for ladies, its a no-no for men. It just makes you look so not smart. Invest in buying well fitted clothes. Be particular about the fit of your suits and blazers.
4. Don't wear a jacket/blazer with the tag on

Yeah, I know you spent a lot of money on that piece of clothing, I know you've got such taste and class and you wear a Ralph Laurent, but do you really have to wear it on your sleeve and let the whole World know? It's wrong, take them off! Those tags are solely for identification purposes while the clothing hangs in the store. For some perspective, have you ever seen Obama (or any other World leader) wear his suits with the tag on?
5. Don't overdo the colors

There is the new trend of color blocking or color pinging or whatever they choose to call it these days, but trust me, ladies can get away with all that color experimentation easier than guys.
