For The Love Of Food: The Delight Of Homemade Cashew Milk

If you just want something different from the regular dairy milk, and you don't like Soya milk (like me), then Cashew milk is just perfect for you. It's easy to make and it's unbelievably creamy. You can have it alone or with chocolate (like Milo or any cocoa powder). You can even use it to have your cereals. This is how you make cashew milk.
Pour the cashew nuts into a bowl and pour water (clean, drinkable water) over it until it totally covers the top. For the sake of measurements, you should use about 1 cup of cashew nuts to 4 cups of water. Then put a lid over the bowl and refrigerate it overnight or at least 6 hours.

When you take it out of the fridge, pour every thing into a blender and add an extra cup of water, not too much though. Then blend until smooth and your cashew milk is ready to drink. No need to sieve it.

You can flavor your cashew milk with vanilla extract, honey, cocoa, or anything else you would like. Be sure to serve it chilled. Enjoy!
