People have been warned again and again about how much information they make available about themselves on social media,especially Facebook. Social media does have it's many advantages, but, unfortunately, the wrong hands can also lay hold of your details and use them in a way that might hurt you. A while ago on this blog, I shared the chilling story of a woman who unwittingly supplied her daughter's photos and school address to a Facebook stalker who happened to be a kidnapper.
Do you realize that every time you try to download an app or use a website and you click the 'log in with Facebook' option, you have just given them free access into your life on Facebook? I'm sure everyone is aware of the disturbing trend of hackers taking over unsuspecting people's Facebook pages and posting embarrassing content.
