Why I Decided Never To Drink Coke Again

'Black gold' as it has been called is something that will never, ever go down my throat again. I'm sure you can guess why. Just like you, I have also watched videos and read articles that tell of how coke negatively affects human internal organs, but none of that scared me until I saw certain 'uses' of coca cola in household cleaning that actually work. I mean, if coke can clean a toilet (just like Harpic), I don't even want to imagine what it does to my stomach each time I have a bottle!

After reading the following uses of coke, you might want to reconsider consuming this thing on a steady after all.

1. Pouring Coke on a bug bite or bee sting can help neutralize the pain.

2. A can of Coke and a wet cloth make a great cleaning solution to remove bugs and dust from car windows.

3. Remove rust from small objects. You might have tried this with the old penny in the glass of Coke overnight trick.

4. Coke can help get the smell of skunk off your pets. Just don’t forget to rinse your pet off afterwards.

5. Coke can also be used for toilet cleaner. Phosphoric acid is actually good for something! Your (old) favorite drink can now help breakdown all the lime scum and buildup in a toilet.

6. Stubborn Stains—Thing of the Past!: If you don’t want to buy really expensive stain removers, take some of that Coca-cola and pour it in the wash along with the detergent. The stains will be removed and your clothes will be deodorized! All thanks to the carbonic and phosphoric acid inside the carbonated drink.

7. Gum Remover: If a gum has been stuck to your hair and you think that the only way to get rid of it is to get an unwanted haircut then you do not have to worry anymore! Just pour some coke on the gum and let it sit for a few minutes, you will see that it becomes easier for you to pick that gum off your hair.

8. Dish Washer: If your pots are all blackened, pour some of the wonder fizz into them and let it sit for a few minutes. The chemicals in the drink will fight the grime and loosen it, then you can easily scrub it out and your pots will again be clean and shiny!

9. Paint Remover: If your furniture has been stained with paint then grab a towel and soak it in coke and rub it out. Make sure you wash it off with soap water later so that the stickiness of the drink is removed.

10. Cleans Burnt Utensils: One of the easiest methods of cleaning a burnt utensil is to pour Coke in it and leave it for about 30 minutes. Acid present in the beverage will help to loosen and dissolve the burnt food residues sticking to the bottom of the utensil.

Do you still want to keep drinking coke? By the way, I'm not trying to put them out of business, it's got so many important uses even if it's unfit for oral consumption. You can even read a whooping 51 industrial uses for coke here. So you see, it's actually very useful!
