We all need encouragement, but children need it even more than grown-ups. A single word of encouragement can work wonders in a child. You never know the words of encouragement that your kids will carry with them through out their lives, even when you are not there anymore. It is true that words have no meaning when they are not followed with actions, but saying encouraging things to your kids is a good place to start. This list of 50 ways to encourage a child is not at all exhaustive, there are so many things to say and so many ways to show them you believe in them. This is just to inspire you to say nice things more often.
