Happiness - Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being, defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy (Wikipedia).
We all want to be happy people and live full lives, but sometimes, you get in your own way of being a happy person. It is possible to live a life that is happier than the one you live now, here are 3 ways to.
1. Let go of the myth of a perfect life
Life isn't picture perfect. The sooner you come to terms with that fact, the better for you. There will be ups and downs, highs and lows; but if you are constantly forging ahead vdesite that, then you have a great life already. Stop thinking the World, or society, or people owe you.
2. Don't let your life be focused on acquiring wealth at all cost
A lot of folks live their lives waiting for the day when they’ll be fabulously wealthy – owners of cars, yachts and expensive jewels – instead of appreciating whatever it is that they have now and finding ways to enjoy the present. Money and success might very well be in your future, but they will not guarantee happiness. Money shouldn’t be a goal in and of itself but rather the byproduct of an occupation which makes you fulfilled and satisfied. Your life should be 'richer than wealth'. The one who lives for wealth is never satisfied by that wealth.
3. Ditch your need to be approved by others
Why live life based on what other people think about you and your choices? If something makes you content, stand behind your decision. While you’re busy worrying what other people think about you, they’re probably too busy worrying about their own lives to spend much time on thoughts about you. So stop wasting the time and stress.
