There Is Always A Better Word!


Can you count the number of times you use the word 'very' in everyday speech and writing? You are probably like most people in that regard, you use that word more often than you can count. According to Florence King  "'Very' is the most useless word in the English language and can always come out. More than useless, it is treacherous because it invariably weakens what it is intended to strengthen". There are always better words to use in place of 'very'. Here's 40 examples!


You see it's pretty easy to avoid using that word all together? There are always better words to use.
