Who says ankara has to be limited to just weekends? African prints are very versatile fabrics that can be styled to suit dynamic purposes. You can creat your own amazing and unique style with ankara for work clothes. There are really nice jacket/blazer styles to make which can be worn on plain coloured skirts or pants.
There are several ways to style/wear ankara to work, you could make a gown with a corporate cut, mix in plain fabric or make it all ankara. High waist skirts also fly, you can wear those with regular office shirts, or a camisole and a blazer. Nice corporat pants are also cool, combined with a blouse made of chiffon and tapes in the same ankara. You can even decide to put a touch of ankara to your regular office clothes by adding an ankara hem or collar!
