For The Love Of Food: Omelettes That Make You Wipe Your Plate And Lick Your Fork


Breakfasts that feature eggs are always nice. Boiled eggs can get boring at times, so who isn't excited when nicely done omelettes show up on the table?! I think I really love this recipe and I think you'll like it too!

INGREDIENTS (Serves 6)

Eggs 12
Onions (diced) 1 medium size
Sausages (diced) 2 pieces
Tatashe (diced) 1 medium size
Green pepper (diced) 1 small piece
Potatoes (diced) 2 medium sizes
Carrots (diced) 1 medium size
Ground pepper 1 table spoon
Vegetable Oil 2 cooking spoons
MAGGI Mix'py Ginger & Garlic 2 satchets


METHOD

Break eggs in a clean bowl, add one MAGGI Mix’py Ginger & Garlic and ground pepper, whisk properly and set aside.
Heat oil in a saucepan till hot and fry onions for 1 min 
Add the sausages and fry for 2 mins
Now add the diced potatoes and stir well. Add the rest of the vegetables and stir well for 2 mins
Add one MAGGI Mix’py Ginger & Garlic, taste and add salt if necessary and fry further for 2 mins. 
Add the whisked eggs, stir properly, cover and reduce the heat to cook on low heat until the egg is set.
Serve well garnished, with toast and a cup of hot beverage.
