I can just hear a reveille being played at this time in my head, announcing and celebrating Nigeria at 55! I can hear a full orchestra playing the Nigerian national anthem, every where is quiet, there is not another sound to be heard. The sound of the orchestra rises and swells, it's a sacred moment for every patriot. The call of the fatherland, a celebration of our heroes past, an awakening of our heroes to come... beauty.
Nigeria is not where she should be yet, but she also is not where she used to be. We should be thankful. Today, let green and white paint the skies and color the roads. I wish all Nigerians home and abroad happy celebrations today. Remember, "It is a duty that we owe to our great dear father land to enhance her and to boost her in the eyes of all the World."
