By now, you might have guessed that watermelon is one of my favorite fruits, I always have something to write about them, like here, and here, and here again. I usually really enjoy a chilled mix of diced pineapples and watermelons (they go really well together), but today, I've discovered something new to do with watermelon. All that's needed is watermelon, honey and lime!
Preparation:
1. In a blender, puree watermelon and honey, in batches, until smooth. You can use a pinch of salt for extra flavor. Set a fine-mesh sieve over a large bowl and strain, pressing gently to squeeze out juice. Discard pulp.
2. Squeeze out fresh lime juice
3. Stir in some fresh lime juice into the watermelon and honey mix, add as much as suits your taste.. Garnish each glass with watermelon cubes, if desired.
4. Put it in the fridge for a while, or add ice cubes, better still, use flavored ice cubes, if you have some handy for an extra dash of flavor and to avoid watering down the taste.
5. Sit back and sip on!
